Free of alcohol doesn’t mean free of flavor! Today’s spritzer is as refreshingly delicious as it is pretty, bursting with notes of sweet blackberry and fragrant lavender that will surely brighten your day!

The Power of Positivity

If you follow along on IG, you might have seen some days ago I shared a quote, “I touch the sky when my knees hit the ground.” It is an important reminder to consider during these days that are filled with such uncertainty. Friends, I know that we are facing difficult times right now, but take comfort that we are all in this together and nothing lasts forever. These trials are temporary and our tribulations will only make us more resilient in the end.

Despite the growing concern within our communities, I’ve seen so much positive reinforcement that it’s hard to let the growing concerns surrounding COVID-19 keep me down for too long. It’s that sense of community and commitment that has kept my spirits up.

At yesterday’s press briefing, Governor Cuomo spoke about the emotional toll this has taken on many. During these times when we are practicing social-distancing, it is easy to feel isolated and alone and with that said, it’s important for us as a society to reach out to those among us and keep that feeling of connectivity going. As a blogger, I feel like I’m in a unique situation, where I can help be a positive influence to quell the uneasiness and disquietude, whether it’s sharing words of encouragement, hopeful anecdotes, or simple recipes we can make at home with our families.

So today, I am looking forward to brighter days ahead and I hope you will too.

While we may all be in quarantine, Spring has at least graced us with warm sunlight and the sight of budding daffodils. Today’s recipe is a bit of an ode to the season and the Easter holiday soon approaching.

Since we’re all home with our families I wanted to create a drink that was effervescent and festive, but still accommodating to everyone. Enter this Blackberry & Lavender Mocktail made with lavender-infused water, a splash of club soda, and Torani Blackberry Syrup.

If you’re a follower of LTG, then you know I’ve been a long time fan of Torani, from their sugar-free syrups to Puremade sauces. You can easily purchase their products online so you too can enjoy a taste of Torani in all your spring drinks and recipes with their large variety of flavors and options available to everyone.

Now, let’s suppose you don’t have Blackberry syrup on stock in the pantry- don’t worry, you can easily swap with their more frequent flavors such as vanilla or caramel for an equally delicious and refreshing mocktail.

More Refreshments for the Season

Iced Caramel Cinnamon Bulletproof Coffee – Caramel, cinnamon, and coconut come together for a refreshing and creamy drink that is low in carbs and energy-boosting!

Apple Pie Shake – Apples are always in season and spring is officially pie season so that makes this drink close to perfect for these warmer days ahead. Cool and creamy, our Apple Pie inspired Shake is made with Torani Sugar Free Syrups!

Virgin Pina Colada – Another ‘mocktail’ for the whole family. This is a cross between a drink and a slushie, but it’s sweet creaminess is what makes it a hit.
