The song of spring with its breezes humming
The tears of the rain that fall; calling, calling to us all
Yet no one hears, no one hears
Through these tears welled for so many years
Come the hope and the faith that calmed the fear
For today is here and it is brighter and clear
Catherine

Did you ever hear of a 'dish' - peas and eggs and onions? My mother made it - I could probably make it from vague memory - except my husband hates peas and I like them. Of course he hates broccoli too - another fav veg of mine -

My hubby loves pasta e pisselli. Doesn't every Italian family have their own version of it?

Dear Catherine, This looks really very good and healthy. I remember my grandmother (Nanni) making something very similar to your recipe, except for the added wine. She would make this when my bother's and I would be visiting. So delicious and a great alternative to tomato sauce. Thank you for sharing, this...Blessings Dottie 🙂

Catherine, This dish looks good to me! Peas and pasta is a combo that we use regularly...although I usually add a bit of chicken or tuna to the dish. Still, I like peas and pasta...and spiced up a bit this simple dish would work for me... Take Care, Big Daddy Dave

In Italy they are called "maccheroni". Macaroni sounds like macarons (almond cookies). Simple and very tasty pasta dish, I like it!
