Baked Chicken Thighs and Legs with Citrus and Garlic Marinade

Taking on new tasks can be very intimidating.  I know.  However, it can also renew our faith.  Every new day is met with hope and a prayer.  Yet, one can reflect on the story of David and the challenges he met with courage and faith.  I don't think too many in that crowd were betting on David, yet he rose to the occasion and came out a winner.

Ingredients:
6 chicken thighs and legs
Marinade:
1 onion sliced thin
4 cloves of garlic - chopped
½ cup fresh Italian parsley - chopped
½ tsp. garlic powder
½ tsp. salt
1 tsp. sugar
¼ tsp. black pepper
¼ tsp. dried oregano
2 tablespoons of lime juice
2 tablespoons of olive oil
Combine all of the ingredients for the marinade and place the chicken legs and thighs in the marinade.  Let this sit in the marinade for at least half and hour or longer.
Preheat Oven 350 degrees:
Place the chicken in a baking pan and bake for 45-50 minutes or until the juice from the thigh runs clear.

Enjoy with Love,
Catherine
