With Father's Day two days away, get inspired to make him an unforgettable meal on the grill this weekend!
Recently, the National Pork Board (NPB) discovered that millions of Americans could be missing out on a tasty summer. After ranking all 50 states in 2014, NPB found that many states are in dire need of some flavor-packed inspiration. Together with actor Donald Faison, NPB has set out to inspire America to overcome its “flavor shyness” with mouthwatering pork recipes.
Here at LTG, we are teaming up with their efforts by sharing our tastiest pork recipes this summer. So look out for more pork recipes here and on our social media channels.
In the meantime, we caught up with Grilling Enthusiast and Actor Donald Faison to talk about his favorite pork recipes and tips he uses to cook for friends and family.
The actor/comedian also dishes on what's to come in his TV and movie career. Be sure to catch Donald as Phil Chase on the TV Land comedy series, The Exes.

You're famous. I've not heard of this actor, but I'm not into celebs much.

Catherine, In our house, pork is king...a minor god even! We love it and we eat pork a couple of times a week. Fry it, bake it, roast it, grill it, BBQ it...it's all good! Take Care, Big Daddy Dave

Until we can get in a position to fatten and process our own hogs, we will be staying away from pork. For what is now generally offered in stores has very little to no fat all, which equates to very little to no flavor at all to us. Yeah, we have seen several ways to prepare lean pork that supposedly tastes good, but we have become too old and broken down to go to so much trouble just to enjoy a simple pork chop. I swear, "healthy eating" sure tastes like death warmed over to me. (LOL?)
