Miss you

Dec 10, 2012 · 57 Comments

Dear friends,

Thank you for visiting and warming my heart with your kind comments and prayers.  There has been so much devastation here on Long Island.  The process is slow, but steady.

Everyone is working hard and is steadfast to rebuild and get their life back to a sense of normalcy.

We are grateful ro be staying with family and look forward blogging and visiting with all of you who are very dear to my heart soon.

Love,
Catherine

Catherine, your family is in my prayers. My inlaws are in Rockaway and it will be some time before they can go home, but we are ever grateful for their safety and for the wonderful angels who've been working so hard to rebuild

Catherine, Keep your chin up and maintain that positive attitude! I must admit that I would be very distraught if I was in your situation...but the only real choice is to move forward. Thankfully you have the support of your family and friends. I miss you and your blogs and hopefully it won't be too long before you're back on line. Wishing you and yours the best... Oh dear Catherine. I had no idea your family has been affected by the storm. We've been working around the clock with FEMA and the tree service companies to try and get things back to some kind of normalcy. It will be a slow yet steady process.

Stay well, dear Catherine. Hope to "see" you real soon:) Louise

I've never experienced anything on the magnitude of Sandy, but VA has its share of bad storms (the summer derecho being one example--lost power for 8 days). I can empathize with what you are going through. I hope that everything returns to normal soon.
