Ingredients:
1 box of brownies mix
1 cup quick oats
1 cup self rising flour
3 egg yolks
1 cup milk
½ cup cocoa powder
3 tablespoons butter - melted
Topping:
2 sheets graham crackers
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons cocoa powder
1 tablespoon butter
In a medium bowl, combine the brownie mix, flour, quick oats and cocoa powder.
In a smaller bowl, beat together the egg yolks and milk, while stirring slowly, add the melted butter.
Stir this into the dry ingredients.
Mix the topping ingredients together and set aside.
Prepare a 10 inch cast iron pan with butter. Place the batter in the pan. Sprinkle the topping over the brownies and dot the extra tablespoon of butter over the mixture.
On a medium to low heat, place on the stove top burner covered. Do Not!! set the heat too high or the bottom will burn.
These brownies are a great dessert idea for this warm weather.
Enjoy with Love,
Catherine

How long do I leave them on the burner and do you leave the lid sealed for the duration of the baking? (My cast iron has a 'vent' spot in the lid I can open.)
