So far, we have tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, squash, strawberries, green beans and sugar snap peas.
We have our herbs in flower pots, separate from our little garden patch. There is still some more work left to do, but we are very proud of all the hard work that has been put into our Living the Gourmet garden.
It is so satisfying using fresh home-grown herbs in my recipes! I love going out to the backyard picking some fresh basil, parsley, sage, Italian oregano, Greek oregano and so much more.. . I cannot wait for the tomatoes to grow !
What's growing in your little garden?

We have cucumbers, corn, peppers, tomatoes, and for herbs (also separate and in pots): oregano, lemon thyme, dill, and chives.
I would love to try strawberries and those wonderful sugar snap peas. I grew those one year and I just loved eating them right after a picked them.

Thank you everyone! It was a family job though, everyone did their part.

You have a good size garden there. I wish I could get tomatoes to grow. My mom always has such good tomatoes, but she's up north. I have several herbs in pots, but my rosemary. Rosemary grows well here and they are the size of shrubs. I do have my bananas, lemon tree and mango if that counts.
We'll be expecting an update on how well it's growing!

Gardening is hard work but it's rewarding! So far I have lots of herbs, tomatoes, string beans, red onion, chile peppers and zucchini.

Growing your vegetables is a splendid idea. I don't have a backyard in my house..so don't do much of gardening..
I have a question for you..i am interested in embedding the Foodista widget in my blog post. I have the code. Does it need to go at the end like a default signature?I want to contribute more to the foodista. Could you please point me in the right direction. Thanks!

I have a little herb garden, mint, parsley, basil, oregano, thyme, chives, and I have some little strawberries. Now these were planted in cute little containers for me and they sit on my deck because I suck, yes I said it, I suck at gardening. Sadly my mother is a great gardener but I didn't get the gene.
Lots of yummy love,

What a beautiful garden. I wish you a lot of success. This is my second year doing it, and with the cooler weather, mine is not as successful (yet to be seen) as I think it could be. Best of luck.

I love your garden. We're trying to grow one but it's so hot here it's kinda tough!

We're growing Portuguese hot peppers, cucumbers, 3 different type of tomato, green bell peppers and 2 different basils. This is my first year doing a proper ground garden (I am usually a container planter).
Yours looks lovely- are those marigolds around the border? What a good idea to help keep the insects at bay!
