My grandmother ate with much gusto too, Catherine. Oh those were the days!
However, since breakfast foods for some reason, are truly my favorites, I'd have no problem stuffing this homemade treat in my mouth with just as much gusto!
Thank you so much for sharing...

That might be simple but it's really hard to beat. I love it. I might have mine with tea, though.

Hi Catherine, very scrumptious biscuit. Bacon, eggs and cheese are the most perfect triplet. The biscuit look good too. Will give this a try for my breakfast or lunch.
Have a lovely week ahead, regards. God blessed.

Hi Catherine, I agree our grandparents did greatly appreciate and understood the value of a good meal.
Your biscuit looks wonderful and is the most "perfect" breakfast.
Hope life has returned to normal for you and yours. Lord knows you suffered much this last year.

Comfort food at its best! You can't beat a great breakfast recipe.

Fantastic! Far better than the version one might buy "under the arches!"

If I wake up homesick, a bacon egg and cheese biscuit is where I head. Biscuits aren't eaten in Australia so I feel very American when I make this. Looks good!

Oh, I love what you said about your Grandmother. How very sweet, and how true of that generation. The children and I were just remembering my Gram, and one of her most favorite suppers...a fried egg sandwich. She used to say it's the simplest ingredients that make the most divine meal. 🙂
Happy weekend!
