Living the Gourmet is happy to introduce Lil' Kristi's a delicious new line of salsas and tostadas by singer Kristine Mirelle.
Introducing Lil Kristi's Tostadas & Salsa
Lil' Kristi's was started in 2010 but the recipes for Lil' Kristi’s has been in her family for generations. In 1949 Kristine’s grandparents started El Charro Mexican Foods in the garage of their own home where they built up a reputation for having delicious, quality products. In 1993, Kristine’s father took over the family business, who expanded the family business to reach over 300 stores and restaurants in New Mexico and West Texas. In 2005 however a devastating fire destroyed the family factory. With the help of family and the support of a strong community, El Charro grew and expanded. Kristine Mirelle continued the family tradition with her brand, Lil' Kristi's.
Lil' Kristi’s Tostadas are deliciously spiced tortilla chips that are made with locally grown corn that is grounded with genuine volcanic rock then cooked to perfection. It pairs perfectly with Lil' Kristi’s salsas available in mild and spicy. Made with fine New Mexican chili this delicious salsa is packed with heat and lots of flavor.
I had the wonderful opportunity of chatting with Kristine about her musical career, product line and what’s to come in the future for Lil' Kristi’s!
Enjoy with Love,
Catherine
