Hi Catherine!
You know, I've never made oatmeal with Vanilla. I do like Nielsen-Massey Vanillas though so I should try it. I also like that you cooked the apples in the bottom of the pot before adding the milk and the oatmeal. Since Marion has oatmeal at least three times a week for breakfast, I may just surprise her by kicking it up a notch or two!
Thanks so much for sharing, Catherine...

Hi Catherine, I love oatmeal! I try to have a bowl of it every morning. I always enjoyed "hot" cereal even when I was a child. Your recipe I think kicks it up a few notches. The diced apples and Nielsen-Massey Vanilla really puts you in the mood of, "I can conquer anything in this day." I can smell the aromas from here. I also love the drizzle of honey.Great post! Thanks for sharing this. Blessings on the rest of the week...Try to stay dry today and tomorrow! Dottie 🙂
