I'm bringing my Sweet Potato Slices to the party!!
2 sweet potatoes – peeled and sliced thin
Salt
Black pepper
Vegetable oil for frying
Heat a cast iron frying pan with about ¼ inch of vegetable oil.
Carefully place the slices in the pan. Do not overcrowd the pan.
When the slice is golden on one side, gently turn over and finish cooking on the other side to a golden color.
Place the slices on a paper towel to absorb the excess oil. Sprinkle with salt and pepper while still warm.
