    ~ Banana Cake ~

Written by Living the Gourmet, a trusted food and lifestyle site since 2008.

    Ingredients:
    4 medium bananas
    2 cups flour
    3 eggs - slightly beaten
    1 cup sugar
     ½ cup butter
    1/3 cup brown sugar
    1 tablespoon molasses
    ¼ teaspoon salt
    1 tsp. baking powder
Place the bananas, sugar, brown sugar, molasses and butter in a mix-master and mix until everything is well blended.
In a small bowl, beat the eggs and add to the mix-master.
Sift into a medium sized bowl the flour, baking powder and salt.  On low speed add the flour mixture to the mix-master.
    Preheat Oven 350 degrees:
Grease a bundt pan and add the batter.
Bake 30-35 minutes or until the toothpick test comes out clean.
This is and easy, moist and delicious cake.  A great way to use those slightly ripe bananas.
    Enjoy with Love,
    Catherine

That looks awesome and yummy… I have tried several other banana cake recipes and they were all rather yikes (maybe, it's me and not the recipe though…). I think I'll try out this one soon.

Catherine, Thanks for the recipe! We always seem to have left over too ripe bananas lying around. We need to put some of them to use! Take Care, Big Daddy Dave

      I love banana's and I love cake...a twofer!
