Healthy BBQ Options with Andrea Donsky

    May 29, 2016 · Leave a Comment

Memorial Day officially marks the start of summer. So in the spirit of summer cookouts and grilling we are talking with nutritionist & author Andrea Donsky to discuss healthy BBQ options -- and specifically the hot dog!

    Andrea Donsky

Andrea Donsky is the author of Unjunk Your Junk Food: Healthy Alternatives to Conventional Snacks and founder of the website, Naturally Savvy.

Today, Andrea is here to help you enjoy your favorite franks without worrying about what’s in them. She is also here to dish up other ways to enjoy the hot dog and not dread the consequences, including suggesting chicken and turkey franks, rolling away from the traditional bun and replacing it with a healthier version as well as swapping sides for lower calorie choices.

So this summer, you can have your hot dog and eat it too!

    Enjoy!
