Spagehtti with Fresh Zucchini
This plate of food tells me who I am. It holds the memory of so long ago when the kitchen so small was filled with hearts so big. I miss them all though they live with me so silently.

Dear Catherine, what a wonderful meal to enjoy with your family. Love this combo, it reminds me of home, real comfort food. Peas, zucchini, and spaghetti and we can't forget the cheese. My mom would make something like this, but without the peas. I love the peas, have to tell her about this recipe. Thanks for sharing...Have a blessed Monday! Dottie :)

I have been eating sautéed Italian zucchini all summer and just tonight had it over rigatoni....so good! Your recipe is just different enough to try it again. Hopefully there is still some zucchini out there at the stand! Pinned!

Catherine, We both love zucchini and pasta so this is a winner entree! I prefer penne pasta vs. spaghetti as I'm less likely to end up 'wearing it ' and ruining another shirt! Take Care, Big Daddy Dave

Fabulous dish! I can have spaghetti every day. I could live just on spaghetti. I love fresh veg in pasta dishes and this is really tasty. Zucchine are still available at this time of year so let's make the most of them!

Hi Catherine:) I could almost kick myself for not growing Zucchini this year. What was I thinking, lol...I do, however, have a very sweet neighbor who "swapped" me a zucchini for an eggplant. I'm having a bumper crop of eggplant this year:) I'm delighted to see the peas in this pasta dish too, Catherine. My grandmother often included peas in her pasta meals. With the exception of Pasta e Piselli, it never made sense to me when I was younger even though I liked peas. Thanks for stirring up the memories, Catherine...
