"If we had planned this, it would never have happened."

The happiest moments in life are those that come unexpectedly.

It's been a long week, but Tuesday night was so enjoyable.  It was night well spent with family, a friend and some delicious cheese and wine!

Tuesday's impromptu gathering was such a joy and a pleasure made easy by Emmi's Gruyere Cheeses.

Emmi Emmentaler and the mild Le Gruyere were delicious served with fruit and crackers.

The Emmentaler had a smooth, rich texture, while the Gruyere had a subtle sharpness.  They were both delicious paired with chilled white wine.

Emmi is the finest Swiss-made cheese.  Not to be confused with the generalized American 'Swiss cheese', Emmi is a premium Swiss dairy company whose passion lies within specialty cheeses and fondues.

For more information on Emmi's products be sure to visit their website and give them a try soon.

Hi Catherine, I tried posting a comment thru earlier, but google said it had problems, so I am not sure if you got it, so here goes again. What a beautiful plate filled with all my favorite goodies. Sometimes the unexpected is the best. Glad that you enjoyed your company. I love cheeses of all types, but Gruyere or Swiss Cheese are my favorites. I even love it in a grilled cheese sandwich. Your plater is right up my alley, all the things I love and always have on hand, just in case you have unexpected company. Add a glass of wine and you can't have anything better, except for seconds. This was a great share. Have a blessed weekend..Dottie :)..
