Living the Gourmet is pleased to present the all natural, handcrafted condiment line from Victoria Amory & Co.
Living the Gourmet had the opportunity to sample three of the condiments, the Champagne Ketchup, the Classic Lemon Mayonnaise, and the Red Chili Piri Piri.
The Champagne Ketchup perhaps best embodies Victoria's motto of 'turning everyday meals into everyday feasts,' by taking an everyday item like ketchup and turning it into a gourmet item. The Champagne Ketchup is "inspired by the flavors and aromas of the bubbly and elegant Cote d'Azure," composed of such fine ingredients as champagne vinegar, extra virgin olive oil, roasted garlic and custom spice blends.
My personal favorite of the trio was the Red Chili Piri Piri. A boldly flavored pepper sauce inspired by "the original spices found by the Portuguese explorers along the ancient spice routes," is handcrafted with Chile de Arbol Peppers, extra virgin olive oil, champagne vinegar, and roasted garlic. The Piri Piri comes in two varieties - Red Chili Pepper and Green Chili Pepper. The Piri Piri Collection also includes a classic Catalan Romesco sauce of roasted peppers, almonds, garlic, hazelnuts, and pimentón.
Finally, we come to the Classic Lemon Mayonnaise, which was inspired by "the flavors and aromas of the citrus groves in the Andalucian countryside." Mayonnaise is a familiar in everyday use, but the Victoria Amory twist on this classic elevates it to the gourmet, adding in such items as fresh lemon juice, pressed olive oil, and garlic. Perfect for giving your everyday a gourmet kick, this Classic Lemon Mayonnaise is a perfect representation of the quality and care that goes into every item inVictoria Amory product line.
All products are handcrafted, and contain only all natural premium ingredients.
