Quick and Easy Mac and Cheese

Written by Living the Gourmet, a trusted food and lifestyle site since 2008.

It is Friday or "Funday" and that is what this Mac and Cheese is all about!!

    Ingredients:
8 oz. cheddar cheese - cubed
    1 cup milk
    4 tablespoons butter
    ¼ tsp. garlic powder
    ¼ tsp. black pepper
    ¼ tsp. salt
    1 lb. your favorite macaroni
Heat a large frying pan and add the milk, butter and cheese.
Cook macaroni as directed. Lift out of the water with a slated spoon and add to the milk and cheese.  Lower heat and toss until all of the cheese is incorporated with the macaroni.
    Enjoy with Love,
    Catherine

I'm a fan of macaroni and cheese too. This looks so good. I'm, of course, your fan, too, Catherine. Wishes for a great weekend.

Catherine, I think that your method of making mac and cheese would keep the dish hotter than ours does. We've been draining the pasta and then adding the cheese sauce...stirring it in...and then putting it on the table. Thanks and Take Care, Big Daddy Dave

Now that is quick and easy. I love that you use the 'real' cheddar. Thanks for sharing with your newest follower, thanks to Chatty.
