    Baked Lemon~Lime Chicken Wings!!

Written by Living the Gourmet, a trusted food and lifestyle site since 2008.

    Ingredients:

    3 lbs. chicken wings

    Marinade:

    Juice of 1 lemon
Juice of 1 lime plus the zest
3 cloves of garlic - sliced
    4 tablespoons of honey
    ½ cup of sugar
    ½ cup of red wine
    1 cup of chicken broth
    ¼ cup vegetable oil
    Handful of fresh Italian parsley
    Handful of fresh cilantro
    Dashes of salt
Dashes of fresh ground black pepper

Combine all of the ingredients for the marinade. Add the chicken wings and place in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour or up to a few hours.

    Preheat Oven 350 degrees:

Place the chicken wings in a baking pan and spoon the marinade over the wings.

Place in the oven for 35-40 minutes until a beautiful golden color.

These wings are a perfect appetizer or a light dinner with a side salad.

    With Love,

    Catherine

I've never heard of this kind of wing sauce before but I am all sorts of willing to give it a try. I love the combination of flavors and how crispy your wings turned out. Thanks for sharing the recipe!

There is red wine in this dish. Not usual for my dishes as I seldom add any wine to them. 🙂

YUM! Would you believe my husband is allergic to chicken? I love it but would be the only one eating this since the kids moved out.
