Easy & Delish! ~ Apple Crumble!

Written by Living the Gourmet, a trusted food and lifestyle site since 2008.

    Ingredients:

    Filling:

    3 apples - sliced
    Zest of 1 lemon
    Dash of ground cloves
    ½ cup of sugar

    Topping:

    1 cup of flour
    ½ cup of sugar
    ½ cup of brown sugar
    ¾ stick of butter

    Preheat Oven 350 degrees:

Combine sliced apples, lemon zest, dash of ground cloves and sugar in a bowl and toss. Place in a deep dish buttered baking dish.

In a smaller bowl combine the flour, sugar, brown sugar and butter. Mix this together with your fingers until it becomes crumbly. Place this mixture on top of the apples.

Bake about 40-45 minutes, until the topping gets a little golden color.

This is a delicious and easy dessert to prepare, and a great compliment to a good cup of coffee!

    Enjoy with Lots of Love,

    Ciao Bella!!

Can it get any easier than that!! Even that novice cook or newlywed bride could really surprise her hubby and make a great impression!!!!

Love it, and have done it many times.

Apple crumble pie is what I make when I'm in comfort food mode. It's a great way to make me feel American-connected. Not sure why - maybe because my kids loved it. This looks awesome.

Your apple crumble looks so yummy! I love all kinds of fruit crumbles and crisp. I make a skinny triple berry crisp and love to top it with fat-free frozen vanilla yogurt! They are such great easy desserts to end a meal with!I'm going to give yours a try...
