Sausage & Onion Sub!!!

Ingredients:


Sweet and Hot Sausage links
Red onion sliced
Fresh garlic - chopped
Fresh basil - chopped
Fresh vine ripe tomato - chopped
Dashes of paprika
Dashes of Chili powder
Dashes of fresh ground black pepper
Olive oil
Fresh Italian bread

Heat a griddle and place the sausage on the griddle to grill.

Place all of the veggies on the griddle and drizzle a little olive oil over the veggies. Grill until the onion is soft. Add the spices on the veggies.

Fill the Italian bread with the veggies and sausage.

This is a great lunch or dinner!!

    it sounds lovely but I don't know how italian bread is...Nevertheless grilled veggies sound amazing. I must look up Italian bread :). Million kisses dearest Catherine, you are some special lady....

    My dear Catherine, I think a Sausage and Onion "hero" (that's what I call it from NY! LOL!) is about my favorite thing to eat in the whole wide world! (Other than fried/breaded chicken cutlet!) and yours certainly looks delicious. Please post on Pinterest! 😉

    Other than the onions this looks great! Im allergic... thats why you never see me use them... or go out to dinner... but great bread sausage and lots of peppers... Im there!
