Orange Ginger Mint Frosty

Jun 20, 2014 · 18 Comments

What a delightful treat to dream with on a warm day…

Fresh mint leaves from the garden, golden nectar and spicy ginger gratings make this frosty one part tonic and two parts refreshment.

It will whisk you away to a place of warm breezes and dreamy sunsets, while never having to leave the comfort of home.

Catherine, I love these type of drinks on a hot day. This looks so thirst-quenching. I think the mint gives it that fresh taste, it almost looks like you can eat it with a spoon..Just marvelous! Thank you for sharing this one....Have a spectacular weekend, blessings..Dottie :)

This drink sounds perfect for summer and I love the fact that I can use the mint I am growing. What a great combo with the ginger and mint as both are so refreshing. I think I'll be having one on my back porch tonight. Thanks for sharing on Two Cup Tuesday.

Quick question: does the mint drown out the ginger flavor? I can't get on the ginger train even though I desperately want to. Thanks so much for sharing with the Merry Monday Link Party team! Hope you come back next week! - Treana @ http://houseofbennetts.com

Dear Treana, If you are not crazy about ginger feel free to leave it out...the drink will be just as delicious and refreshing. The mint is not over powering at all. Thank you for stopping by and visiting. Blessings~
