Classic Carrot Cake is rolled into bonbons then covered in chocolate for a perfect mini treat!
One of my favorite things about Autumn, other than cozy sweaters, the turning leaves and smell of fire burning into the crisp midnight hour, are the desserts that go along with it.
‘Tis the season to start baking! It has been a pretty warm summer and I have missed my oven. So bring on the brown sugar crumb muffins, candied apples, all things pumpkin spice and of course, my favorite seasonal dessert of all, carrot cake.
For Halloween, I am going to serve up these mini bonbons with scattered candy corn. Speckled with nuts, this spiced cake is mixed with cream cheese frosting then glazed with chocolate.
Serve with tea or coffee and enjoy!
