Ingredients

  • 2 large eggs
  • Filtered water
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a small sauce pot, bring 32 ounces of filtered water to a boil.
  2. Carefully lower the eggs into the boiling water and let them cook for *7 minutes, uncovered.
  3. Promptly transfer the eggs to a bowl of ice water and let them sit for 5 minutes.
  4. Serve and season with salt and pepper. Enjoy!

Notes

*Cook time depends on how 'runny' you want your yolk. 6 minutes for a very runny center, 7-7½ for a jammy yolk, 8 minutes for a slightly more set yolk.
