Crispy Oven Baked Fries

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 Russet potatoes, peeled and sliced thin
  • 2 tbs. cooking oil
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. cayenne

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven 425 degrees F.
  2. Peel and slice the potatoes “matchstick like” and place in a large bowl.
  3. Using a paper towel dry the excess moisture from the potatoes.
  4. Place the two tablespoons of cooking oil in a small bowl.
  5. Add the seasonings to the cooking oil and pour over the potatoes, gently tossing to cover each potato.
  6. Place parchment paper on a baking sheet and lay the slices out single file.
  7. Bake 25 – 30 minutes or until desired doneness is achieved.
