Pesto and Goat Cheese Pizza

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 Table5 Goat Cheese Pizza (or any Table5 Pizza of your choice)

For the Pesto:

  • 2 cups cleaned fresh Italian Parsley - stems removed
  • 2 cups fresh cleaned basil leaves
  • 4 large cloves of garlic
  • 2 oz. can of anchovies
  • 1/2 cup fresh grated Pecorino Romano cheese
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • 1 tbs. fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup of pine nuts
  • 2 tbs. capers plus 1 tbs. caper juice
  • 2 tbs. honey
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 tsp. red pepper flakes
  • 1 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 tsp. fresh grated nutmeg
  • 1 tsp. salt

Instructions

  1. Prepare pizza as directed.

For the Pesto:

  1. Combine all of the above ingredients in a food processor and process until creamy.
  2. Spread over the pizza as soon as its out of the oven. Serve and enjoy.
  3. For remaining pesto, store in a jar and refrigerate.
