Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 cups organic all purpose flour, sifted
  • 2 tsps. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted grass fed butter, softened
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 ripe bananas
  • Sugar for top of bread

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven 350 degrees.
  2. In a large bowl sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt
  3. In a separate large bowl mash the bananas with a fork and add the softened butter, vanilla, sugar and the eggs. Using an electric mixer; cream these ingredients together.
  4. Slowly, add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients while mixing with the electric mixer on a low speed.
  5. Butter and dust with flour a loaf pan.
  6. Place the batter in the prepared pan and dust the top with sugar.
  7. Bake for approximately 1 hour or until the toothpick test comes out clean.
