Coca Cola Cherry Drumsticks Cherry Cream Float

Ingredients

Drumsticks:

  • 1 can of cherry coca cola
  • 1/2 cup duck sauce
  • 2 cloves of garlic - crushed and chopped
  • 1/2 tsp. ground fresh chili paste
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 tbs. lemon juice
  • 6 - 8 drumsticks

Dipping Sauce:

  • 1/4 cup vanilla coke
  • 2 tbs. lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp. ground fresh chili paste
  • 1 tbs. lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 can (6 oz) Coca Cola Cherry
  • 2 scoops desired ice cream (I used homemade vanilla with crushed chocolate candy pieces)
  • Maraschino cherries for garnish

Instructions

Drumsticks:

  1. Preheat Oven 350 degrees:
  2. Place the drumsticks in a bowl: add all of the other ingredients into the bowl and toss. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least one hour or more.
  3. Place the drumsticks in a baking dish along with the marinade.
  4. Bake for 50 – 60 minutes until a nice golden color is achieved and the juices run clear.
  5. Remove from oven and place on a serving platter; pour the remaining juices over the chicken.

Dipping Sauce:

  1. Combine all of the above in a food processor and process.
  2. Serve along with the Cherry Cola Chicken.
  3. Pour 6 oz. Coca Cola Cherry in a glass. Scoop ice cream on top and top with cherries.
  4. Serve cold and enjoy!
