Ingredients
- 1 large Vidalia onion, sliced thin
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 11/2 cups plain Greek yogurt
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon mustard powder
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives, for garnish
- 1/4 teaspoon onion flakes, for garnish
Instructions
- In a dry cast iron pan over medium-high heat, caramelize the sliced onions with sugar until they have cooked down and are lightly golden.
- Add the garlic cloves and keep cooking until the garlic has softened and the onions are now fully caramelized. Drizzle the Worcestershire sauce over the onions and toss.
- Remove from the heat and let cool until warm. Once cool enough, give the onions and garlic a rough chop. Set aside.
- In a bowl whisk together yogurt, salt, pepper, and mustard powder.
- Add the chopped onions and stir to mix.
- Garnish with chives and serve alongside your favorite chip, veggie sticks, or crackers! Enjoy!
