Pork Rib End Chops with BBQ Sauce

Ingredients

  • 6 Pork Rib End Chops, about 1/2 inch thickness

For the BBQ Sauce:

  • 1/2 cup of ketchup
  • 3 tbs. apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tbs. raisins
  • 1 tsp. coarse ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp. turmeric
  • 2 tsp. soy sauce
  • 1 tsp. sesame oil

Instructions

  1. Place all of the ingredients for the BBQ sauce in the bullet blender attachment for the food processor.  Give a few good chops.
  2. Place the pork chops in a large bowl and rub the entire BBQ sauce into the chops.
  3. Place plastic wrap over the bowl and refrigerate for one to two hours.
  4. Heat a large cast iron frying pan place two to three pork chops in the heated pan and cook for about 3 - 4 minutes per side and there are no pink juices remaining.
  5. The cooking time will depend on the thickness of the pork chops that are being cooked.  Discard any remaining BBQ sauce that was used with the raw pork!!
  6. Make a fresh batch of BBQ sauce to dip the cooked pork chops in.
