BBQ Glazed Chicken Thighs

Ingredients

  • 6 - 8 chicken thighs - bone in with skin

For the glaze:

  • 1 inch piece of ginger root - grated
  • 3 - 4 garlic cloves - grated
  • 2 tbs. soy sauce
  • 2 tbs. Frank's Redhot Sauce
  • 2 tbs. orange marmalade
  • 1 tbs. apple cider vinegar

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven 375 degrees F.
  • Combine all ingredients for the glaze in a medium bowl.  Reserve about 1/3 cup for serving.
  • Place the chicken thighs in a cast iron pan and cover with the marinade.
  • Bake 375°F – 45-50 or until the chicken skin is crispy and the juices run clear.   The internal temperature should reach 165°F.
  • Serve with the reserved sauce on the side.
