Spicy Turkey Wings

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 3.5 - 4 lbs. of fresh turkey wings - tips removed and split at joint (I left a few wing tips on)

For the Marinade:

  • 5- 6 cloves of garlic
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 tsp. red pepper flakes
  • 1 tsp. black pepper corns
  • Fresh nutmeg - grated ( about 3/4 tsp.)
  • 4 tbs. Teriyaki Sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tbs. lemon juice
  • 2 tsp. apple cider vinegar

Instructions

  • Combine all of the ingredients for the marinade in a bullet blender or food processor and give a few good chops.
  • Place the prepared wings in a freezer bag and add the marinade.  Rub the marinade into the wings and seal.
  • Place the wings in the refrigerator for at least one hour or up to overnight.
  • Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F.
  • Place the wings in a baking dish.
  • Cover the baking dish with tin foil and bake for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
  • Uncover and finish baking for 30 minutes.
  • Serve with your Karma Hot Sauce.
