  • Total Time: 21 minutes
  • Yield: 2 dozen crackers 1x

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 tsp. dried oregano
  • 1/4 cup white wine
  • 3/4 cup grated Romano cheese
  • 1 stick (1/2 cup) cold unsalted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven 400 degrees F.
  2. Using the dough hook in a food processor, combine all of the ingredients and process until a dough is formed. The dough should gather around the hook.
  3. Form the dough into a ball.
  4. Dust a clean surface with a little flour.
  5. Pinch a chunk of the dough from the ball and refrigerate the rest while working with the dough at hand.
  6. On a lightly floured surface roll out the piece of dough as thin as possible. Using a cookie cutter or ravioli cutter, cut out the dough. Gently lift the cut-out pieces, use a butter knife to loosen the edge of the cut-out dough, and place onto a parchment lined baking pan.
  7. Using a fork, gently poke each cracker once or twice each before baking.
  8. Bake 6 – 8 minutes or until slightly golden.
