Ingredients
For the Seafood:
- 1 package SeaPak Butterfly Shrimp
- 1 package SeaPak Popcorn Shrimp
- 1 package SeaPak Beer Battered Shrimp
For the Sauce:
- 2 - 28 oz. cans of crushed tomatoes
- 4 - 5 cloves of garlic - crushed
- 1/2 cup of fresh Italian parsley - chopped
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 1 tbs. dried oregano
- 1 tsp. red pepper flakes
- 1/2 tsp. sugar
- 3 tbs. olive oil
- 1 lb. of your favorite pasta
- Grated Romano or Parmesan cheese
- Fresh lemon slices for garnish
Instructions
- Heat a heavy saucepan with the olive oil.
- Add garlic and parsley to the pan and sauté until the garlic is fragrant.
- Add the crushed tomatoes and seasonings and continue to simmer on a gentle heat for 25 – 30 minutes.
- While the sauce is gently simmering prepare the Seapak as directed.
- Prepare the pasta as directed
- Place the pasta is a large serving bowl.
- Add the cooked seafood and the tomato sauce and gently toss.
- Drizzle a little olive oil, a few dashes of red pepper flakes, lemon and grated cheese and fresh parsley over the dish and serve.
