Dear Catherine, I wait for Midnight Musings every week, and every week as I listen to Michael's fabulous voice I hear your poems once again with amazement. I love them so much, plus your words are so moving and meaningful. You do such a spectacular job. The Rose is really so beautiful. I never realized what you meant about the last rose. But that is the cycle of life even with the flowers. Thank you for sharing this, so very lovely! Have a blessed Sunday dear friend. Say hello to Tammy and Michael! Dottie ๐

The Rose is beautiful. And, fortunately, like the phoenix she will rise from Winter's ashes.

I am just starting to visit again and love this new addition to your website. How wonderfully creative and moving. I have just been watching the last of my roses succumb to an early arctic blast. But they did linger. Just lovely, Catherine! And beautifully narrated.
Catherine says
I am so happy that you are visiting again. I am happy that you like this addition; it gives me hope to keep it up.

Sorry, I meant to comment earlier but the last days have been hell, work-wiseโฆ been here as soon as I got your invitation over at my blog (not as if I needed to be invited, though; I stop over very regularly, just don't always find the time to leave a comment). And I have to say: I thouroghly enjoyed both the poem and Michael's voice. You've always been an insipration for me, Catherine, but even more so ever since you launched your Midnight Musings. Hope all's well, and sending a warm hug, xo D.
